VARKALA:
This is known for the Sree Janardhana Swami temple, which
is one of the seven important Vaishnavite shrines in the
Country. It is also called as 'Southern Varanasi'. Other
important shrine is Sivagiri Mutt. Varkala is the site
of the Samadhi of Shri Narayana Guru the famous social
and religious reformer. The Ashram founded by the Guru
is situated in the midst of beautiful surroundings. |
NEYYAR:
This is located in Trivandrum district, from 32km.Boating
facilities are available at the reservoir. There is also
a Lion Safari Park and a Crocodile Farm. The sanctuary
has a rich variety of birds and animals.

KOVALAM:
It is located 12km south of Trivandrum and is regarded
as one of the finest beach resorts of the world and also
one of the best tourist resorts in this place. It is a
fine sea-bath resort on the out skirts of Trivandrum.

NEYATTINKARA:
This is located in Trivandrum district, 18km from Trivandrum
enroot Nagercovil on the banks of river Neyyar. Neyyattinkara
is very much associated with Royal family of Travancore.The
maiden near the temple is known after Swadeshebhimani
Ramakrishna Pillai, a powerful writer and editor, born
