MINOR PORTS
VIZHINJAM	This is a small port for the purpose of fishing under construction 15kms from Thiruvananthapuram near Kovalam beach.
NEENDAKARA	One of the important fishing harbour of south Kerala 14 kms from Kollam .The Indo Norwegian fishing project is located here.
ALAPPUZHA	Once called the 'Venice of India' and it is one of oldest port of Kerala.
PONNANI	Ponnani is an ancient port where Bharathapuzha merges in the Arabian Sea.Ponnani is called the Mecca of Kerala and is an important centre for Muslim scholars and priests.
BEYPUR	This is a small port, a ship building centre famous for the Country craft called "Urde".10 kms from Calicut.The famous Beypur beach is situated here.
